Edward J. FernEdward J. Fern - president of Time-to-Profit, Inc., a consultancy focused on project management and product development. His career in Information Technology and Product Development began in 1973. He has held director level positions with Sprint, Control Data Corporation, and TRW. He earned an MS in Technology Management from Pepperdine University in 1992 and his Project Management Professional designation in 1998. Ed teaches project management, business process improvement, and product development. Ed serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern California chapter of the Product Development and Management Association. He is former vice president of Professional Development of the Orange County chapter of the Project Management Institute. He was the sponsor of the California Inland Empire chapter of PMI. Ed is the co-author of the well-known PMP preparatory courses (see www.pm-prepare.com). He is the also the author of the book "Time-To-Profit Project management: A Primer for Project Managers in Commercial Project Development", that was translated into Russian.
